Welcome to my first blog. Although I have worked as a professional writer since 1981 (yes!), it never occurred to me to do a blog for the store. I mean, how much blah-blah-blah can I actually generate each month? As it turns out, a LOT. So get ready for exciting news regarding Elsie Bell’s whenever I get around to it (no, the clerks say I have to try for Every Month), starting with:

We’re gonna do it again! Even though it may be warm, the public (and our dealers) reeeeally wanted to do another parking lot sale. So! Elsie Bell’s next parking lot sale will take place from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 27th. As always, the cost of a booth will be $20 except for our dealers who each get a free booth. Dealers: remember to bring your own tables, chair, tent, sunscreen, water and change as sales will not be rung through the register unless it is a credit card sale and then you will be paid as part of your regular dealer check the following month, minus 10%.

Note: we still hear EVERY DAY that our shop has the best prices, cleanest merch, most unusual items and REAL ANTIQUES! Thanks to everyone who thinks so. (We do, too!)
